”First they checked us in and when we got to our room and there was other peoples luggage’s in the room. Then they put us in the older side which reminded me of a hospital bed and bathroom. The shades were old school and it was daylight all night in our room. The place was so crowded with all the tour buses that always stay there. I’ve stayed there before and it wasn’t as bad but will not stay there again”

”The hotel was charming and old. You feel like you traveled back in time. The hotel is on the strip and was very convenient but at night if your room is near the street the local drunks can be loud at night. We tried to use the washing machine onsite but there is no coin machine or soap so you have to fend your self of you want to use the onsite amenities. There is parking behind the building for customers which is very nice because there is very limited parking in town.”

”Staff was helpful and hotel was fine. And it was clean. It's a bit of a run down bldg. And it is expensive because it is in Juneau but it is right downtown. We had a room on the back and it was quiet. We were there for a short night before an early morning flight. The staff reserved a taxi for us for 5:30 am. The taxi did not arrive and the morning staff for since that they'd had problems with this taxi company. We had no problem getting a Lyft. The nighttime staff person thought maybe a taxi...

”Very nice and clean rooms located in a great part of downtown. It’s the perfect basecamp and easy to get in and out of (whether exploring the city on foot or trekking out to Denali, etc.). We will def. be staying here again in the future!”

”Hotels in Juneau are very expensive during the summer. The owners exploit the tourists and Alaska residents who must travel through Juneau pay the price.”

”I’ve seen this place and never thought too much about it. Wow, was I wrong. Great place, location (for me), and the price can’t be beat. Also, it’s more quiet than the other hotels in Fairbanks. Yes, I know.”

”Breakfast was dry cereal, bagels cream cheese and yogurt. More protein options would be a great addition ”

”It gave us a place to sleep. Room was 1/2 the size it appeared to be in the pictures. Continental breakfast was cold muffins, bagels, croissants, granola bars, yogurt and packaged hard boiled eggs. Office was closed twice due to under staffing. If we ever return to Fairbanks we won’t stay here.”

”We had a first floor room at the end. It was very warm in our room so we opened the window to get some cooler fresh air. Instead, we were getting people’s cigarette smoke directly into our room. They were all smoking at the end of the building. We had to ask one gentleman to please move away from our window and smoke somewhere else at 10:30pm.”

”Liked the location, liked the rooms except the shower was small, and no room around the sink to set anything. kinda dated. but a pretty good stay..”
