”We stayed an extra day on our trip so we booked a night here. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the central bus location to catch a bus to different parts of the city. The bus maps and routes were very easy to figure out. The hotel had a shuttle that took us to the airport at end of our stay. The hotel is located in the downtown area, close to restaurants ”

”The horse back ride was a highlight! The wrangler and her daughter were delightful! Beautiful, easy to ride horses. Fresh salad from the greenhouse was delicious. Hot springs were relaxing and novel in a gorgeous setting. ”

I thought it was going to be a continental breakfast; no, a full breakfast. Décor was modern and well done. Wonderful stay. ”

”All around great! I read reviews so when I saw the good reviews and high rating on Hotel Glacier, we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! The hotel didn't look like much on the outside but the lobby was nice and clean. Check-In was easy. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. $100/night less expensive than another nearby option. We will definitely stay at Hotel Glacier when we return to Valdez and would highly...

”The hotel is located in downtown. It's right along the river.They had a nice river walk. It was close to shopping and a lot of places to walk and get food. There's a barbecue place right around the corner and an ice cream truck in the parking lot across the street from the barbecue place that stays open until 10 PM. The staff there always greeted us when we came in. Asked if we were having a good day, if we needed anything. Very friendly, nice. Our hotel room was clean. I felt very secure...
