”When we arrived I thought I was at the wrong place, it looked like an army barracks. From the pictures I was hoping for a key west vibe.. not so much, opened the door to our 2 bedroom suite in the first floor, facing the pool and immediately hit the bed with the door. The room was extremely small. Leftover food in the mini fridge, toilet had no water to flush, wet left and at least the 2 girls that were there were very nice and the maintenance guy/ desk clerk/ maybe manager did show us...

”I really enjoy the character of historic hotels. I think they are neat if well kept up, and Historic Hotel Nichols did not disappoint. It was in walking distance to the lake/pier. There was free parking very close by and we were able to take advantage of parking in front of the hotel, but there were limitations. This property is over 140 years old, but is very well kept up.
