”An older property with few of the amenities that other newer hotels offer. However the room was clean, bed comfortable and the shower head was great. Most hotels have a mini-fridge, but older hotels like this have larger size refrigerators which is great if you are traveling with food and drinks.”

”Good”

”Good value. Wife and I spent one night here. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel in general was very nice. I would stay here again”

”Always stay when in the area, great staff and clean rooms.”

”Rooms are clean and front desk staff were amazing.”

”Our family had a great stay here! Our kids, ages 6 & 11, enjoyed the pool area which was clean and well maintained. Our room on the 4th floor was clean, comfortable and quiet. My daughter forgot a toothbrush and was able to get a complimentary one from the front desk. We would stay here again and recommend it to others!”

”Delightful and comfortable 2-night stay. We would stay again. Peterson is a quiet town as compared to Lansboro and right in the bicycle trail.”

”Perfect location to have a reunion.”

”Absolutely wonderful. High Victorian mansion, wonderful furniture and decor, charming hosts, fantastic, convivial breakfasts, fluffy towels, great toiletries, great guest camaraderie. It couldn't have been a better experience. I would love to stay again!!”

”The jacuzzi tub was great to relax the muscles after a day of adventure and exploration although we unfortunately had to clean it ourselves before use as there were footprints with sand and dirt within it. The remainder of the room was clean other than the solid thick layer of dust upon the top of the head board. We didn't sleep well as the bed was too firm, it is what it is. The outside curb appeal around the building itself is full of weeds and the bushes need some attention.”

”Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.”

”Very clean and organized. Rustic scenery very quiet and peaceful.”

”Everything was perfect for our one night stay… owner was very helpful and easy to reach. Only small issue was that it was a little difficult to get up and down the ladders to the lofted beds.. but now that we know what to expect, we would definitely consider staying here again!”

”Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! ”

”Beautiful and peaceful get-away with extremely responsive owner. Loved the porch the best :) listening to bird calls & songs! Cozy Amish built cabin!”

”Very nice place for a large family or a couple of couples to stay. Huge floor space, great kitchen and living room area, and a piano to boot. If you find yourself in Houston, you can’t go wrong here.”

”The motel had a fire and Expedia never told me! Had to find a different place to stay. Expedia is a joke!”
