”A shame breakfast not cooked to order. Impressive dining room, just avoid tables on a through- route. Well staffed all great at up-selling. Had a room in the main house which had difficult access to the bathroom, especially at night. (Three narrow steps up). Check in/put very smooth. Comfortable lounge areas”

”Lovely from start to finish. Staff excellent - the meals were the best I had in two weeks in the UK. Make sure to ask for the bedroom on the first floor with the patio area - fantastic ! (Team Grafton - maybe a sign for which door is reception could be helpful but not mandatory : -) ”

”We had a lovely stay at Bank Cottage, with a weekend mix of fishing and exploring the local area. Everything from booking to our stay ran smoothly and efficiently. Our host was brilliant and it led to a very enjoyable experience. ”

”Situated right on a busy road with little parking, especially for a large vehicle. No place in the bedrooms to put suitcases and had to climb a spiral staircase. No mirrors in the bathrooms except one small vanity mirror…. No toilet paper holders, ensuite bathroom was very unusual. It had a shower over the toilet and small sink. We had problems with heating and managed to get a bit of heat the first night but not again after that. It was extremely cold and damp weather for July and without heat...

”We are Dutch. We just came to relax, to enjoy the scenery and quiet. Also to see a bit of Wales, the lovely countryside and the cute villages.It’s a cosey cottage, fitted with everything you need. Even Starlink internet. And quite a bit of lovely antique furniture.Sitting in the garden, it is extremely quiet. Nothing but the occasional hum of a car passing in the distance.We were lucky with the weather; we had a wonderful stay!”
