”such a cute space and everyone was super sweet and helpful!”

”Western-style comfort combined with Japanese hospitality—a great choice for international visitors as well. We’re Japanese and stayed here while attending an event in the area. I appreciate the thoughtful and elaborate hospitality that traditional Japanese ryokans are known for, and take pride in it as part of Japanese culture. At times, though, it can feel a little overwhelming. This hotel strikes just the right balance. Everything is clean, the staff are kind, and the hospitality is warm and...

”The hot springs was excellent and the room we had in the annex was large and well equipped. Highly recommended.”

”Mahtava lokaatio ja loistava onsen.”

”Great”

”This is our most memorable stay in Japan. We had an exceptional room with private rooftop onsen and incredible views. The staff and management were especially helpful and more importantly they were sincere. Their recommendations were fantastic. Manazuru is a lovely, manageable, not over saturated town with limited tourist influence and it might be hard to find a better place to stay than this one. It can be viewed as expensive but in Japan you pay for what you get and the value was fantastic. ...

”This might be important t8 some people. This hotel is so called "love" hotel. So people can spend only 3 hours here if they wang. BUT! It doesnt show, okey, lamps in the room you can choose to be red and there is porn on tv. I did like this place a lot. Rooms were HUGE and internet excellent. We had karaoke stuff in the room also and jacuzzi. We didnt have a car so it was bit difficult just with the busses but just outside of the hotel there is stop and there stops "Hakone free pass" busses...

”We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the property itself is beautiful. Such a unique idea with the late check in and late check out. It made it an easy transition from arriving mid afternoon from Kyoto and transitioning to our ryokan after the afternoon check out. Drinks were well made and the public bath was so welcome at the end of a long day exploring the Hakone area. The complementary snacks and drinks in the room was also a nice touch. We arrived early...

”I really enjoyed my stay in this historical hotel! I got a really nice room in the forest wing so I could see the woods. It was peaceful and bed was really comfy. Loved the spa too. Will come back!”

”Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home.”

”Mukava onsen-hotelli Hakonen lomalle.

”Beautiful peaceful stay. The staff was so sweet and supportive. The property was a dream!”
