Not only are the staff incredibly kind and accommodating, they provide small touches that make their guests feel welcome, like inviting us to sit for tea upon arrival, the 24/7 complementary coffee/tea and the cozy pajamas. Just a short walk to everything we wanted! Under 10 minutes to many izakaya options for dinner, 24 hour onsen, train station and Odawara Castle! We recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone staying in the area!

”The hotel is close to the Koen-Shimo Cable Car station so it is easy to reach. The staff was super friendly and helpful even though we don't speak Japanese and some of them didn't speak English. Big rooms and all the free drinks, snacks and pyjamas were a big plus! Room was super warm (maybe even too warm when we arrived) but you can manage the heater yourself.
Dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were delicious.

”Musashino bekkan offered us a perfect ryokan experience. Travelling as a family with two younger kids, the hospitality was amazing. Our room was beautiful, with views to enjoy. Tea was always available in the room. The kaiseki style dinners were an experience themselves, fresh, amazing flavors, beautiful set up and we definitely were not left hungry. The kids were also taken into consideration very nicely. We enjoyed the onsen, very calm and relaxing!
