”This is our second visit to the hotel. Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. This time, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was stunning, especially the modern bathroom with lovely quality toiletries. Both the breakfast & dinner were delicious. We enjoyed being able to choose a cooked breakfast from their varied selection. Would highly recommend. ”

”The room was big but not clean, the windows were very mouldy and bathroom doors very dirty. The breakfast was very poor in quality. It was the basic hotel breakfast, with the usual highly processes breads, cold dry bacon, and very dry / rubber looking eggs. I was honestly expecting a much better experience. The reception staff were wonderful, but the pool staff were clearly junior and very uninterested in helping customers. It took me 3 trips to be able to get all I needed to access the pool...

”The lodge has a lot of potential and is set in a beautiful, peaceful location that’s perfect for a quiet getaway. There was noticeable dust on furniture and surfaces, and we found cobwebs in the corners of the room and near the ceiling. It made the space feel less well-maintained than expected. ”One bath towel 2 adults? Blocked sink? Charged 15 pounds to check in an hour early when we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. If you need to stay in this area it has a restaurant on site , it’s ok but not geat”

”So it would have been easilllyyyyy 5 stars but we almost didnt even stay. So we had a booking and decided we would turn up for lunch around 1. We knew we couldnt check in until 3ish ( not a problem ) So we asked the reception we were early and would like some food. She was so rude and unoccomadating to us I said I would go elsewhere as did not feel welcomed at all. Yes it was a bit busy but it wasnt packed. And they should be able to accomadate all guests. Anyway glad we stayed as everyone else...

”The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”
