”We had a fabulous time. Emily was so helpful - what a warm welcome we got on arrival, with some lovely touches of country life. Free range farm eggs available on request - they were delicious and a must! Lodge was very clean and fresh. It was an idyllic setting to relax and also had lots of things to do with a short car drive away. The hot tub and sauna were amazing too. Lots of animals and wildlife to enjoy too - being out in the countryside was good for our souls. Highly recommend a...

”The pub was lovely and served great food and drink options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit fairly basic and in need of modernisation, but certainly no complaints given the room rate. The pub offers great value for money and is dog friendly. We used it as a stop of travelling south from Scotland and we will likely return. ”

”This property was a find! I was concerned driving there as it was located in the middle of nowhere and thank God for Google maps else I don't know how I would find it. But what a delight! ”This was a fantastic find for an overnight stay on our way to Glasgow, wish we could have stayed longer and explored the lake and surrounding areas. The bar and restaurant were very good and the couple who were managing the pub at the time of our stay were excellent hosts. There is plenty of parking and this very old pub has very modern rooms. Would defiantly recommend and stay again. ”
