”Staff downstairs in all areas were very friendly, room & bathroom was essentially very clean apart from a lot of crumbs inside the room drawers, not that we needed them for one night but maybe check the drawers.... Unfortunately we were on the 4th floor and there was a private function above which was incredibly noisy from when we got back from dinner until midnight. Although we were offered a room swap, we had already showered, were in PJ's and were trying to watch a film...”

”This is one of the best value for money rooms in canterbury. We had a free breakfast included which was superb. You get a free visit to the cathedral included, which would otherwise be £20 per person. The location is perfect and you have a lovely view of the cathedral from the lodge. ”

”A lovely county pub in a nice setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, fresh milk, free water and a little bottle of chocolate port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself served good food. Would highly recommend.”

”The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. ”
