”My husband and I were traveling through the UP and were looking for different places to stay as we made our way to Copper Harbor. The location was beautiful and serene. Full of amenities that we look for when stay somewhere. Clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. ”This is a truly beautiful property! The home was comfortable and well stocked. A somewhat secluded location perfectly situated on the shore. Communication with Todd was spectacular, very responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t use the sauna more, the post swim in Lake Superior is an experience. I look forward to retuning soon!”

”Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. ”This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

”Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. ”Overall a really good property at a reasonable price. With a few improvements this place would have five stars but the would not let that deter me from another stay. Plenty of room, clean house with everything you need to feel at home. My only recommendation is to get some actual bed pillows instead of the decorative ones that are on the beds.”

”We stayed in mid May, 2024, guests were myself, my wife, and our dog. This cabin was fantastic for our trip to the Keweenaw peninsula. It feels very private, you have tons of space, the property is gorgeous, and it's an easy drive into town for meals in the evening or supplies. The sauna was a particular treat! We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again if we're ever back in the area!”

”Visited this place for 5 nights. During the first night on weekend this place was rather full or snowmobilist and none of them used a mask in general space (like in breakfast lounge .. even if not eating). Breakfast is horrible (last days I refused to take that even if that was included). Otherwise this hotel is right in the downtown so easy to walk to the uni and other places.”
