Lomamökit – Huddersfield

”Check in was easy and the cottage clean and warm on arrival. It is small, but was perfect for 2 of us with everything we needed for 2 nights. Shower was hot and powerful. Sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sit on but not a problem. There is a public footpath that runs past the front door but we only saw one person all weekend. We did spot a deer through the kitchen window which was lovely to see. We did some lovely walks from the cottage. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you”

”What a treat this place is. We had an amazing nights stay only sorry we didn’t book for longer. The den was beautiful well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen accessories were great. The surrounding area was beautiful and meeting and feeding the alpacas was a special experience. The hosts were extremely pleasant and made us feel at ease. Highly recommended.”

”We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...

”Very easy to find. Lovely host Sarah. 2 friendly dogs, Frank n Nim. So relaxing, a small cosy Conversion which is Very clean. Pub/restaurant a short walk via the village. Other restaurants a short drive. ”

”Perfect property for a family gathering. Lots of space inside and for dining. Parking was great outside the back of the house for all three cars each day.”

”Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.”

”Cosy, beautifully equipped cottage. Modern and well furnished in excellent order. Off road parking to rear of property. Excellent communication from owners with information on local amenities within the property. The White House pub serves excellent food and we would recommend this as a place to eat with great views. The property is close to the road and you do notice some commuter traffic noise in the morning if you live in a quiet area. Shops etc are a car trip. Would recommend.”
