We were able to see all the rooms and were able to choose which one we want to stay. Each room were different and we found it very difficult to choose the one we wanted as they all were so lovely, so nicely decorated. Beds were very very good. In the lobby, there was coffee, tea, muffins, cookie etc and if you wanted to have a special coffee (espresso, cappucino...

”Building looks nice on the outside and staff was friendly. Parking inside the property is $45 and you must use their valet service, you are not allowed to park yourself. It is a historic building so the smells were really strong throughout the elevator and halls. Our room smelled like mold and the bathroom needed more cleaning. The shower head and faucets had a lot of build up, the bottom of the tub looked dirty as well as the grout. You are paying for the location and outside looks.”

”This is where you got to stay at if you want to be in the middle of things. Bourbon Street and all the other little French Quarter blocks are a few short steps away. The room was nice and clean but the only thing that bothered me was that the old doors leading out to the balcony did not lock completely except from one lock on the bottom the other two lots were not effective because there was nothing there to hold them in. I understand it's in a hotel and I could forgive that I'm just afraid that...

”The property is old and fairly well maintained. The area was quiet. Close to many things but, far enough from the craziness. There’s a catholic museum in the other corner of the street that you should visit before or after going to the cathedral. Regarding the rooms, we had a mini fridge but, there was no microwave. However, there is one downstairs in the coffee area next to the pool. I was happy with my stay and the staff was really nice. ”

”Great location between Marigny/the French Quarter withing walking distance to Frenchman and Bourbon Streets. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and the property really had that quintessential New Orleans feel to it.”
