”Spent 2 nights at The Cricketers, had a lovely stay, our room was in The Pavilion annex, spacious room, lovely bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfy bed.
We ate both evenings at the pub, the food was wonderful and very tasty. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice. The lady doing the breakfast service was brilliant, so efficient and friendly.
Staff were very good, polite and helpful.

”This property is immaculate with great facilities, the pristine kitchen area with free breakfast items is a really nice touch. The staff are very obliging and kept the breakfast items topped up.
There is parking at the front and the property is on a bus route, with a stop just 200 yards away for easy access to the city centre.
Overall a great choice and wouldnt hesitate to stay again.”
”We had an excellent stay here with a meal in the evening that was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed in one of the loft rooms and it was great. Comfortable bed, brilliant bathroom. Everything you could want from a stay. We'll definitely stay here again if we get the chance!”
”Beautiful decor throughout, very well presented & the stunning bath centrepiece topped the room off.
Only slight criticism being the towels, which were hard & scratchy.
The host Paul was extremely friendly & helpful, he also makes a top class full english breakfast!

”Absolutely wonderful but we did have the best room (The Kings Suite) The only thing I would say is the windows need cleaning as the sun was beaming in the morning and it showed them up terribly. But everything else was just amazing from the suite to the art, and all the interest around racing. Breakfast was lovely too. ”
