”All was good except for a minor mix up regarding the lockbox. We had been mailed the wrong code, and it took a while on the phone to correct. The facilities were good and looked quite new. The bath/shower was good, although the bath is rather high off the floor (as so often in renovated houses) and although our family did not mind, it might not suit a frail elderly visitor with limited mobility.”

”A great find. Although in the owners garden there was plenty of privacy and outside seating to enjoy. The owners were very helpful and happy to help if you have any questions. There are dogs but they are also very friendly and sometimes sleep near you when sitting outside. The property was very clean with plenty of space to relax. There's a Thai pub within walking distance which is very good and the property is in an excellent location to explore Hampshire with the south coast only about an hour...

”What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. The space inside and out was brilliant for a group and Charlie and Kitkat were really helpful in the lead up and during our stay. ”The house was very well appointed but the seating area was very small for the amount of people the house slept. There are 5 bedrooms and sleeping for 11 people but only seating for 5 at the most in the living area and no table inside. It would be ideal if you're just sleeping there but we cooked breakfast and then had to sit outside in shifts.”

"I booked a room, which turned out to be very cold. I booked this premium hotel to be comfortable, and I wasn't. I called about this in the evening and they came to fix it. I also called in the morning, but no one came. I might be old-fashioned, but back in the day there would be immediate compensation for a satisfactory resolution, i.e. free breakfast. Something like this would have made up for the issue, but nothing was offered. Feels like "thank you for your £200+, we dont care how it was for you, we are just happy to have your money". There are cheaper hotels nearby for a matching comfort level. "
