”The check in was very friendly. The room was extremely clean. Parking was good and not an issue. Ate at the RSL next door - food was ok however you cannot buy a glass of wine - unbelievable - only bottles available.”

”We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at The Anchorage to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. There was a thoughtful birthday card and chocolates waiting for us in our room, which was such a lovely personal touch. ”Not really a luxury accommodation, but very good quality place to stay. Close to vineyards, golf courses and other attractions. Abdolutely beautiful view over Hunter Valley, old buildings create a pleasant athmosphere. No outdoor pool, but indoor pool in spa premises is a big one. Sauna is way too mild and not in good shape. We really loved our time here althought it's a bit pricey.”

”Beautiful view of the vineyard and an open field from Cottage 2 on our staycation. The fireplace was perfect for a romantic evening cuddled up on the couch (playing Mario cart 😄) By day we explored the local area neither of us drink wine but the area is stunning. Thanks for an amazing memory and stay, added to our collection.”

”Room was stunning, clean and definitely worth the pricing. We were able to check in abit earlier and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. My only suggestion is around paying for a balcony. Our room had a balcony which we paid extra for as I was expecting a view of the town however it was just the balcony view of the building next door which would not be worth paying extra depending on which room you’re provided. Overall great service and would definitely stay again!”
