”We had the best time staying at HV Cooperage B&B. Gay and Warren were perfect hosts, so friendly and there to help with whatever we needed. They even let us check out late at such short notice. The breakfast both mornings was amazing (sorry I couldn’t finish all my pancakes, Warren!). The room itself was very comfortable and spacious with thoughtful touches (port wine, coffee pods, milk, biscuits, etc) and had a private entrance that led onto the porch where you could sit and drink wine in front...

”In the middle of the busy Hunter Valley wine area. Most hotels are really overpriced and the restaurants as well which is not very clever regarding the tourism industry. The hotel is a motel style place with no services. The water at the swimming pool looked not that fresh nor clean. Recommend staying outside of the wine region. Just make day trips to Hunter Valley.”

”Very pleasant place to stay. Fabulously comfortable beds and pillows and gorgeous views of kangaroos, birds and hot air balloons in the morning. Kookaburra Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay. Bathroom and kitchen a little older but clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or in one of the other cottages on the property. Great location. ”
