”We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. ”Amazing house in the woods/farms of Grantown on Spey. We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was our base of operations for a week long stay in the Highlands. Laundry includes a tumble dryer which was a major bonus. Kitchen and bedrooms were all spacious and well organized. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed the sounds of sheep in the neighboring pasture. The sitting rooms fire place was absolutely fantastic after days of hiking in the rain. Best place we stayed in Scotland, bar none.”
