”Incredible surrounding with beautiful service and delicious food!”

”Hotel would not honour the rate / amenities booked. At check-in informed they would not provide the amenities (game drive, afternoon tea each day) that were listed in the rate I booked. The manager blamed Expedia. The manger gave in partially and offered 1 x complimentary game drive, but this was not what we booked. Additional big negative. Room was also freezing. Asked for a blanket and told none were available - manager had an extra sheet delivered. We were told to wear more clothes if...

”A last minute booking was not an issue. Friendly reception and well organised. Lovely well appointed room. Offered for us to return (after checking out) for a swim and a shower after our safari tour !”

”The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. ”

”Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! ”

”Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner. This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it.”

”This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. ”

”Very nice hotel in the center of Anuradhapura. The room was really clean and comfortable, the pool was great, the food was excellent (we recommend to take the diner at the hotel) and the manager was extremely kind, helping us organize our visit to the city with a wonderful guide for a very honest price. Some comments mentioned noise from the street, but we were not disturbed at all during our stay. One recommendation: add a mosquito net, since mosquitos in Anuradhapura seemed quite aggressive”

”Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!”

”First - this is a camp with tents so you cannot expect hotel level amenities. Unless you have been camping before it may be dirty and discusting. If you have been camping you probably will find this quite luxurious, clean and working. The tents are relatively big and have working toilets and showers. They are clean - considering they are in a "jungle" or at least in rural woods. We had a few scorpions (tiny) and lizards accompanying us, but they are not dangerous. The staff was really friendly...
