”The Rivulet is located on busy Sandy Bay Road, which makes getting into and out of the property a litte tricky. It is conveniently located to the Salamanca Market, which we were able to walk to (30-40 minutes) and also to the Bruny Island boat tour pick-up location. Sandy Bay Road has lots of shops within easy walking distance (Coles and Woolworth). We especially enjoyed one of the bakery shops where we purchased meat pies and cherry tarts.

”We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless, the place is charming, and the area is one of the best areas in Hobart. Few minutes walk from Salamanca market, art centre, restaurants, etc. The staff was lovely and kept everything neat and tidy. Highly recommended.”

”The accommodation/peoperty is in good condition and has been very well maintained as a heritage Victorian type architecture.
The sitting area at the back was a bit messy and not well kept.
It was great having a shared common dining room and sitting areas where we could relax, enjoy a cup of tea or a drink at the end of the day or in the mornings. Unfortunately, the dining area was not regularly stocked up with drinking water/biscuits.
