”We had a lovely stay in this house.
I'd read reviews that criticised the cleanliness of it, and I wonder why some people like to moan. (To get good cleaners in the Lake District is not the easiest thing.)
We liked the house and garden. It was good that the owner had left everything we might need, washing up liquid, paper towels, numerous toilet rolls (of good quality), as well as cooking equipment etc.
My son and I had fun lighting the log burner stove with the wood provided.

”Sheepfold Barn was the perfect location for my weekend with friends! It's rural location gave us the peace we all wanted and privacy to use the hot tub without concerns about people looking. It is located at the end of farm track but despite the recent wet weather it wasn't too muddy and was easy to navigate. It's interiors are to die for and the house is well stocked with everything you could need, we all came away wishing we could live there full time! Only issue was the heating wasn't working...

”Very nice cottage in an ideal location. Beautiful views across to Mell Fell. The cottage was as described, if I’m being critical, the cottage felt a little tired and would have been nice if there was some heat on in the cottage on arrival or at least some kindling to light the fire. The previous travellers had left some logs and firelighters which were useful.”
