”Room clean and fully equipped. Kettle and hot drink substances. Iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Staff friendly. Managed to sign up for scheme providing discounts based on purchases made. As usual, lovely view over folkestone harbour , with white cliff of dover in the background. Good music event on 1 of the 2 nights. ”

”We stayed at Broome Park for my mums 70th birthday. They stayed in one of the junior suites which they loved, whilst the rest of us stayed in the lodges on site. We had 23 of us there and Jo in the events team was kind enough to sort us a private dining room for our evening meal which was perfect and also meant the kids could have a bit of space without disturbing anyone else. The hotel was great value for money and had some lovely features and decor. The staff were all very kind and helpful....

”Great stay in friendly place run by Sharon and Vaughan. Spacious and light room, proper bathroom. Good location with short walk to the castle and a tad longer to the cliffs. Food, pubs and a minimarket within walking distance. The best part, though, is probably the hearty full English breakfast which is served with music perfectly fitting the historic era that we were there for - the fourties and WWII! Thank you kindly, we enjoyed totally!”

”This was my second time visiting Hempstead Hotel and I was so glad to have returned.
The welcome from staff is always lovely and very clean.
My room was a wonderful size which was immaculate throughout. The bottled water is always nice to have along with ample biscuits, tea and coffee.
I like to go out to the cinema which is only an eight minute drive.
The breakfast was wonderful; smoked salmon and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection.
I didn't feel rushed and gladly took my time to saourr every...
