”My stay at the Holiday Inn was comfortable and pleasant overall. Everything was good, and I had a nice experience. The only issue I encountered was with the sofa bed, which wasn’t very comfortable—I could feel the hard surface while lying on it. Aside from that, everything else met my expectations. I would consider staying here again when needed.”

”Just as I wandered in for breakfast there had been a big rush of orders. The young lady found a brilliant table by the window, and then kept me updated on the progress of my English breakfast which was brilliant and I got given another pot of tea for the wait, which was lovely. ”

”The room had a comfy bed and a lovely ensuite. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here.”

”Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

”Parking safe , only problem is a tight corner to get out onto side road. My room was interesting,no walls straight and the floor was lop sided but very comfy. Good selection for breakfast ”

”Restaurants for dinner lacked ambiance- table cloth, candle no finese. More like a canteen. Food was however very good.”

”The place is OK as a base which we used it for whilst we were in the area. The food was nice with the added beneit of a Gluten free menu and they do have separate prep areas for food. Rooms nice, although a little dated and some need a little attention in places. Reasonably priced for both food and drink, service can be a little slow at times. Bar area gets busy we tended to sit in the restaurant area as it was more quieter. Breakfasts tasty, good selection of food and hot food if you want...

”Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned ”
