”I spent a couple of days in Bologna. This place was very conveniently located on a quiet side street. The place is perfect for somebody who doesn't normally spend too much time in a hotel room. The room was small but comfortable enough - and clean. Breakfast was quite OK also for this kind of place. The "staff" (or family) was very frinedly and helpful. So if you don't need a fancy place to stay in, this is a good option! Very centrally located.”

”This is an exceptional place, full of character. Thoughtfully appointed, immaculately clean and very quiet and comfortable. Carlo, the proprietor, was wonderful---friendly, very helpful and lots of fun to talk to . He even lugged our bags up to the apartment, which is on the top floor with a terrace and great view. If you want to talk to a "real" Italian, this is the place for you! One word of warning: the Palazzo dates from the 15th century and has no lift , so the stairs are not for the...
