”A great base for exploring the city center by foot. Hopefully the lift will be fixed soon though as four flights of stairs after a long day were quite taxing.”

”Hintaan nähden hotellia ei voi sanoa pettymykseksi. Majoituin yhden hengen huoneeseen joka oli todella pieni. Se sisälsi sängyn, naulakon ja sivupöydän, edes tuolia tämän lisäksi ei huoneeseen mahtunut. Oma wc- ja suihku huoneeseen sisältyi. Lattiat kokolattiamattoa, joka on likainen ja osittain rikki. Äänieristys on aivan olematon, toisista huoneista kuuluu puhe omaan huoneeseen ja ovenraosta paistaa käytävän valo yölläkin suoraan sänkyyn. Henkilökunta erittäin mukavaa ja palveluhaluista.”

”The hotel was easy to find...The walk from the city center wasn't too long in my opinion. There is a bus too, but it doesn't go after 8pm or so. The room was small, but very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was around 20C° during the day so the room didn't get too hot, as the window only opens a little. The shared kitchen was great for breakfast. The area itself was quiet and felt safe. Edinburg is a lovely place to visit.”

”The room was nice and very quiet. The food (both evening meal and breakfasts) was very good - evening meal being reasonably priced with lots of options. We've scored Linton Hotel as an average on some basic housekeeping points which hopefully they will learn from. The bedroom was clean and quiet, but basic Hotel housekeeping surely requires at least one full toilet roll....not a part role only with the guests having to ask for one! We stayed two nights, but no housekeeper replenished the...

”Parfaitement accueilli par l'equipe de réception. Chambre suffisamment spacieuse. Café et thé de courtoisie sont de la partie. La salle d'eau/wc un peu petit mais fait l'affaire. Pas eu besoin de chauffage.”

”The room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom also spotless. Linda is an excellent host from the moment i arrived nothing was to much trouble. As for the breakfast what can i say other than excellent. Perfectly cooked if thats your thing or an abundance of other options. As a traveller who stays in between at least 50 hotels a year thos ranks amongst my best stays. 5 star”

”Ihana majapaikka erinomaisten kulkuyhteyksien päässä keskustasta. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, huoneiden siisteyteen on todella panostettu. Yövyimme huoneessa nro 8, joka sijaitsi yläkerrassa ja jonka kattoikkunasta avautui mieletön maisema Arthurs seatille. Huomioi että majatalossa on käytössä erilaiset pistokkeet vaikka jännite on sama kuin Suomessa, läheisestä kaupasta saa kyllä edullisesti esim. kännykän lataamista varten pistoreikään sopivan muuntajan hankittua.”

”Sain mitä halusin: edullisen majoituksen lähes keskustassa. Viereinen Arthur's seat toimi loistavana lenkkipaikkana, ja kävellenkin jaksaa kaupunkia katselemaan. Tukku busseja huristelee risteävällä tiellä kohti keskustaa ja kaakkoa, mutta hurinat eivät kuuluneet hotelliin. Samainen Clerk St/Newington Rd on täynnä pikkuliikkeitä, joista saa päivittäistarpeet ja ruuat. Portaiden ja ovien käynti kuului huoneeseen, mutta yöpyjät olivat ainakin onneksi hiljaista sorttia. Kokemusta värittää oranssit...

”Roy was an incredible Host at a beautiful location. The room was pristine, and the Breakfast service was phenomenal. ”

”There was no lift in the building and no mention of the absence of it anywhere in the advert. We were given a room on the third floor and it was very difficult to carry our luggage to the third floor”

”The location was good, about 15 min to the city centre. Also free parking was a great plus. Unfortunately the room was very small for two and a bit outdated. We booked our room with private bathroom, but realised it was on the corridor and must be locked every time with the house key. There’s no AC and it can get really hot during the night. Opening the window helps but there’s quite busy traffic road and thus noicy. Nice restaurants nearby!”

”Staff was great and friendly. Unfortunatly the room wasnt properly cleaned, little bits of dirt everywhere. The provided tea cups were dirty. Breakfast was nice, not very wide but it was fine.”

”Location is very good, easy to go to everywhere. Room was nice and quiet, but sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep (there was 3 of us, so one slept on the sofa). Breakfast is not good, very limited options and example tomatoes and cucumbers were missing all mornings. But all of all, I could go here again. ”
