”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”It's dated...could use some fixing up. Could also use some cleaning. Not terrible but a little dusting. The tv did not work properly. The guy in the office was very nice. Was right in town so that was nice but was pricey for what you got. Probably wouldn't stay there again.”

”Sand on top of both beds. I think they need to wash the green plaid blankets that are at the end of the beds as I think that’s where the sand is coming from. Other than the sand in our beds, the resort is charming.”

”One of the most unique hotels (unique good, not unique bad) we've stayed at with one of the best views over the ocean we've ever enjoyed. It doesn't get much better than a great bottle of wine and the spectacular view here. The Old Alcohol Plant Inn is a very beautiful three star hotel that is an excellent place to rejuvenate and unwind if you have an artistic or a romantic soul. ”Cool building in a great location. Only has stairs to the second and third floors, which is fine but might be tough for some. Great friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We try to stay here when we can when in Pt Townsend”
