”The Harbour is a charming little inn right above the waterfront. My room had a balcony that I sat out on and enjoyed morning coffee and dinner, allowing me to watch the tides and surfers. I was very appreciative that they allowed dogs at a very reasonable weekly rate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

”While very comfortable, the bed especially, and basically clean and useable, the cliff top room was not scrupulously clean, heavily dusty in places, had broken curtain and blind that were then not properly fixed when raised, the lit magnifying mirror in the bathroom didn’t work and had thick dust on the back, the heated towel rail didn’t and again the lower rungs not wiped clean of dust and rust. One bath robe for the two of us, which we didn’t mind or raise as we don’t use them, no towels on...

”I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think carefully before booking. Our original room was unacceptable. There was a strong smell of damp that triggered my asthma. There appeared to be faeces on a towel and the carpet, the bedding was dirty, pillowcases stained, mould was present, and the bathroom tiles appeared to have bodily fluids on them. The room clearly had not been properly cleaned. To be fair, a member of staff apologised and moved us to another room. However, while...

”Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired.”
