”Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her.”

”The bar at the hotel did not have a variety of lager/beer, atmosphere felt like a waiting room, didn’t feel like was in an hotel. Breakfast was ok nothing special, a set price so if you didn’t want a cooked breakfast and only wanted toast you still had to pay the same price.”

”Could not stay in our room during the evening as a very noisy party was taking place downstairs. We were not prepared of the function, but staff did attempt to get the noise reduced, and offered us a complimentary drink in the bar. This however meant we could not use our room, or get an early night.
A pity, as otherwise good value and good food.”

”The duvet cover was not fresh, I called the dedicated telephone line at 19.26 to request a fresh duvet cover or at least a bed sheet to cover it, an hour and a half later after a series of phone calls back and forward I was told that nothing can be done. The property is unsupervised and there's no way to contact management in the evening and a telephone assistant is not based in the UK.
The room is tired, the classes in the bathroom are not clean, bedding needs to be undated, a door stopper is...

”Fantastic host looked after us incredibly well, the place is right opposite the Lincolnshire county show ground, peaceful and quiet, we had a lovely walk up and down the bridal path.
The host is an artist and showed us her works which is very impressive.
The site has a new sauna and hot tubs for guests to enjoy.
The breakfast was brought to us at the time we chose.
Loved it and would book again if we are in the area.”
