”We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute.”

”Had a great stay , hiking around Donegal , the setting of the house is picture perfect , there was plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out everyone agreed it was a great cottage , close to beach and mountains.Jim was a great host too. Can’t wait to return.”

”This roomy cottage is just perfect for a getaway at the edge of the world and can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of couples and kids. Your hosts Pauline and Hugh are marvellous and are happy to help with suggestions on nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with towering mountains right next to a proper surf beach. The local sheep make it all so idyllic. We’ll be back soon.”

”We - myself, my adult daughter and her dog - spent a week at the property. It's clean, warm, fully equipped and a great location to 'get away from it all' and explore South Donegal. All in all, everything went well and we had a great time. Highly recommend this property - just be aware that it IS remote (but that's part of the attraction).”

”The house is as beautiful as it looks in the fotos. It is far away from everything, so you can enjoy the quietness of this place. The owners are friendly and help, when needed. You will need a car. Without you would be lost.It is perfect for long walks, paint or write. Nobody will disturb you.”

”The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage. The view is spectacular with rolling hills, sheep and rock walls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we're already...
