”The house was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and equipped to a high standard with everything we needed. The hosts, Deirdre & John, were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location of the property was amazing. In every way a perfect place to relax or to use as a base for exploring the area. ”

Car needed, good shopping facilities in nearby Letterfrack and Clifden. Fresh fish for sale in Letterfrack on Thursday and Friday mornings. All six of us (one Irish, two Germans, three French) were delighted with our stay.”

”Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. ”We loved our stay in Doolin! These lodges were a perfect home base for exploring this area. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren. Our lodge was so close to the Cliffs of Moher, we even went twice, because the cliffs are so beautiful, we couldn’t get enough. There are lots of pubs and places to eat nearby, and the lodge itself is equipped with everything for cooking. There’s no grocery store in Doolin, though, so get your groceries before getting to town. I would...

”The cottage is lovely and everything we hoped for when booking a thatched roof cottage. We enjoyed listening to the stream that runs through the backyard and how cozy and homey the cottage felt. The only negative about our stay was that it was too short.”
