”We absolutely loved our stay here, we were looking foward to a nice peaceful long weekend and this cottage provided just that. The kids loved having there own rooms as they usually have to share a room when we go away. My son had hours of enjoyment using the extra large box of lego to not only play with but also to do his stop motion videos. We did have the unfortunate inconvenience of car troubles on a bank holiday weekend but sean and suzie were very helpful in suggesting places that could...

”Amazing cottage and hosts! Great location for day trips. Coming back to the quiet of the cottage after a day of sightseeing was lovely. Plenty of room for 3 of us and amenities for the week. Unexpected extras were scones, bread, chocolate and wine waiting for us upon arrival. As well as some fridge items to start us off. Very kind and appreciated after a long flight. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!”

”This place was amazing .. great view and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. It was a short walk to the village and the locals were so nice. We felt very safe with our 8 yearold there. Beautiful drives to the wild Atlantic way, the national park and Derry. The property manager is very responsive and we fully enjoyed this stay to the point where I don’t want to ruin this town with a review.”

”My family of six stayed here after st. Patrick’s Day. It’s the perfect location to see the cliffs of Moher. The view from the cottage itself is absolutely stunning. The cottage is beautiful outside and inside with new floors and furnishings. It’s extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

”We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2..”

”Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The property was beautifully designed and very well kept. It had great amnesties that allowed us to dine in and enjoy the wood burning stove. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. We would definitely stay again”

Insgesamt ist das Haus jedem zu empfehlen, der Ruhe und einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den eher rauen Westen sucht, und längere Anfahrtswege an die Küste nicht scheut. Die Seelage und die Seeblicke sind jedoch einmalig.”

”Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!”
