”Hotel is a part of the historic Fort.
The room was a good size but the bathroom a little tight.
The website photos may lead you to believe there is a bar and restaurant, but it's no longer in use. But it's just a 10 minute walk to the town with a number of bars and restaurants.”

”Quirky place with very nice staff and it was exceptionally clean.
Seemed expensive for the quality and layout of the room and no breakfast included but I guess that happens in a cruise town.
Configuration of my room ( twin single) was awkward due to the small space. Bedside tables were out of reach and difficult to watch tv from one of the beds.”

”I stayed here the night before I caught the ferry and it was fantastically comfortable. The only issue that I had, and it was very minor, was finding the check-in instructions, but it was no trouble - another guest showed me the way. Well, there was a second issue. The driveway is very steep with some very sharp turns. I had everything I owned in the back of my pickup, so with the added weight, it was problematic for me to maneuver the driveway. If I'd known, I would have parked on the road and...

”Loud generator kicking in and out every 5 seconds outside in p/l. Obviously, an issue not being dealt with, and hard to sleep. Mentioned to staff in morning and received an apologetic reply, nothing written down, so I made clear it is obviously a long standing issue that is being neglected. And received a tepid response to that comment. Not the worst hotel in our trip but very very close to the bottom.”
