”Friendly and homely hotel - ideal for visiting Banff and golf course. Ample parking. Rooms very well maintained. Room 6 is large and well equipped. Food is excellent with a good range of meals in the restaurant. ”

”After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. ”

”So we had a classic king room which was a small room but nice, bed was ok for comfort, only thing about the room from a woman perspective was if doing hair and makeup there was no light to see what you were doing at the mirror so you had to do separately but this is a small complaint, but it was a very nice hotel friendly staff, food was nice we didn't do breakfast, I would visit this hotel again we loved our stay ”

”We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. It was truly relaxing stay and on top of that even though I managed to lose my necklace after leaving the spa, when I emailed the hotel later, they had managed to find it and send...

”We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea. Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size. A cooked breakfast is included or...
