The room was clean- and the proximity to where I needed to be was excellent The coffee pot stopped working, but I mentioned it to staff and there was coffee available in the lobby There was a leak in the shower stall- ( by the door) so the floor got wet in front of the shower- however the staff made up the room each day- and fresh towels were always available I would stay here again”

”This location is a beautiful property. We were given one of the waterfront rooms in the newer portion of the building. The room was clean and very well equipped had we have wanted to prepare our own meal. Instead we opted to have dinner at Riva, the restaurant in the same building which was an amazing experience. The property is in a wonderful area of Sidney with shops, restaurants, a great waterfront walking area. We would certainly return here again but next times would stay for a few days.”

”Terrible! This property is sadly neglected and has unacceptable aesthetic, and maintenance deficiencies. ”What made this property and stay extraordinary was the host. Juliette was so wonderful! She made us an amazing to-order breakfast. She gave us a box to safely travel with a fragile purchase. She got a map and marked it all up for us with recommendations on what to see and where to go on a lovely hike, plus with the scenic route to get there. She recommended a dinner location and told us to stop in at the Thrifty so we could get very discounted ferry tickets. She was super friendly and we...

”Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

”It has a neat, funky, original vibe and Grandma’s basement is very cool! The location of the hotel is in an area we didn’t feel safe walking with children and there were tiny ants in the hotel room everywhere and would be on any food in a second. The restaurant was very expensive and not exceptional food. The pool was fun but the waterslide looks old and weathered and the kids were uncomfortable going on it. Overall it was okay. ”Unfortunately, our stay was not very pleasant. The hotel was quite noisy, especially at night. We could hear water pipe noises and conversations from neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to sleep and get proper rest. Soundproofing definitely needs improvement. Overall, we did not have a good sleeping experience.”
