”This property was probably a very nice house in its day with a great location close to Ely centre and backing onto the golf course. It’s now very tired old lady that’s seen better days. It was clean and the breakfast was very good. There was no one to receive us and the room key was left on the reception desk with a note. We had room 8 which is on the top floor which must have been back in the day the servant’s rooms.To reach it a door from the first floor led to a narrow flight of stairs which...

”WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. ”Loved the west facing balcony overlooking the river on our room. Room decor was very contemporary and stylish. Bathroom lovely and spotlessly clean. Staff so friendly.”

”Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”
