”The location is superb, on the waterside, a very good pub/restaurant (The Cutter Inn) nearby, accommodation is spotless, breakfast excellent. Don't let the name confuse you - it is not an inn, it is a guest house, but a very good one that I will go to again. Apart from at breakfast I saw no staff at all so can't comment on that aspect but it works.”

”Would love to be able to give a higher rating because there is lots of amenities in room the staff were friendly room serviced daily free WiFi lovely big garden birds and trees and in a great position to explore Ely. It was quiet and dark. Unfortunately the place stinks of stale cigarettes which as a non smoker with heart and lung conditions is very off-putting and means I wouldn't stay here again. The room was very dusty with questionable stains on the carpet and linen and yellowing paintwork....

”Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”

”The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. ”
