”We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away. The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips. Our room COX was above the bar. ”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...

”Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk. Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy. Would recommend if you’re near by.”
