”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...

”Superb experience, staff is lovely, the pub and the rooms are so cozy and welcoming, and the food was soooo good! Excellent dinner and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the amenities it was a great surprise. Expectations were high and they were still exceeded! Also the shower was very good. ”

”Lovely, historic pub walking distance from the Chatham Dockyards. Nice rooms, nice staff, great setting. Breakfast was excellent each day. Dinner was even better. Chatham Dockyards are definitely worth a visit and the pub is just a short walk away. Also, Rochester Cathedral and Rochester Castle are a short drive away and touring them made for a lovely day. The area around the pub is very walkable and there is an outlet mall just across the road. ”

”It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend.”
