”I had a wonderful stay in the Oberoi Hotel. The building is a amazing, lovely pool area with very friendly staff. First i had a room with carpet but after 2 days they gave me a perfect suite for the same price. Thanks so much for your upgrade. I was so happy. Super restaurants👍”

”Repair work noises and uncomfortable beds. Lack of hygiene in the restaurant were downs. very prompt and helpful personnel were the pluses. ”

”This is a very beautiful historical property. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was on top of making sure the room was clean along with water, tea, and coffee stocked daily. Bicky is amazing at taking care of the room and makes sure everything is perfect when he cleans the room. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again for future visits to Kolkata.”

”The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. ”Western style hotel with rather good breakfast and a bit worn rooms. Surprisingly not much traffic noise (at least to 4th floor), but some very loud religious prayer calls are totally annoying. I think the hotel should discuss with neighbours to stop them or at least limit to day time. Windows are too dark, hardly any visibility. Doorman wants to open the door and carry your bag all the time. Somebody might like it, but I would prefer to do it by my own, I am not that lazy. There is error in...
