It smelled like mold covered up by cold AC, the sheets were dirty, the tub looked like something from a horror movie, there was dog/cat puke on side of my bed, and to top it all off around 9:30 PM, my neighbor must've rented one of the “pay by the hour” New Orleans Specials, if you know what I mean….. ”I had already paid in full for my stay and Expedia said I would only a small fee at the hotel but the hotel charged me again a full 172. Not sure why Expedia says one thing and the hotel another in terms of prices and fees”

”We had a nice stay. Was disappointed to find that they charged me $25 per night as a pet fee. There was no mention of the additional charge on the site. The pool was a little messy but we have had an abundance of rain in the area recently! At check-in, there had been a power disruption and their computers went down. It took us about 45 minutes to check in. Overall, I would stay there again.”

”The facility was clean, the staff was helpful, cheerful and efficient. The only negative was that the only functional ice machine was on the first floor. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will stay there in the future should the opportunity arise.”

”Service was good at the front desk. Our room was spacious and clean. There is a laundry room, so you can do your laundry if on a longer trip like we were. We thought that the location was excellent, while doing plantation tours (no valet or parking fee compared to hotels down town New Orleans). Maybe 5-6 miles from Houmas House. There is also an outlet mall across the street and many restaurants in the area.”
