”Great place. It was even better than we expected!”

”Space is beautiful and staff is helpful and friendly.”

”Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa!

”Great for solo travelers with a car. The covered parking is convenient and the staff was polite.”

”Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We are so grateful we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto!”

”We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

”We really enjoyed our short stay and it was totally worth it to stay in Arashiyama and enjoy the area before the crowds roll in. Traditional breakfast is as awesome and we booked the private onsen which was great.”

”Lovely, quiet ryokan. Beautifull small garden. Lot of young travellers. Cozy kind of youth hostel. With taxis and busses one can reach whatever place. Lovely personel, except the owner whose moods vary a lot depending on alcohol intake. In three nights the mouldproblem in specially naths started to produce healthinfluencies. No smoking-place and in that meaning very pleasant.”

”Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!”

”Loved our stay here. Staff knew enough english for us to get things we needed. The 5 private onsens are fantastic although first come first serve. We went twice in our one day/night stay and found 3pm and 6am to be no wait. Dinner and breakfast were well worth the value and loved the entire vibe/decor of the space. Located right off the train exit was a welcome convenience as well”

”Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone.”

”Excelent Place ”

”Excellent hotel but a little bit too far from subway station”

”Incredibile experience of staying in a traditional ryokan. Very calm/peaceful atmosphere and the most lovely staff. Our room had everything we needed however, no coffee machine. There was a cafe nearby though, and breakfast was delicious and included coffee.”

”Beautiful room with garden view. ”
