”Great place. It was even better than we expected!”

”Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa!

”We had a room with a private tub, which was spectacular and made it a really special trip! It’s a little squishy but 2 people can fit in there. We also booked dinner with our stay which was another really special part of the stay. I would’ve liked to book 2 nights so we could have more time to explore the area, but overall all the staff were super helpful and having the pick up from the train was another big help. There was also a station in the lobby that had face masks, and everything you...

”We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

”We had a beautiful temple and Mountain View from our room. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The hotel did not offer much of amenities. Their website was under construction and could not get information unless we call the front desk. Overall, We did not feel like we got what we paid for and this hotel was very pricey. We wanted to experience what 5-star hotel like but was a little disappointed. We had better experience with lower star hotel (this hotel is rated as 5-star hotel).”

”Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We are so grateful we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto!”

”We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit outside the city area and therefore very quite but still in walking distance. The rooms are quite small but it’s similar to other places we have stayed in Japan. What is outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were on our honeymoon and they even decorated our room which was super nice”

”Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!”

”Great for solo travelers with a car. The covered parking is convenient and the staff was polite.”

”Excellent hotel but a little bit too far from subway station”

”Excelent Place ”

”Hyvätasoinen hotelli aivan metropysäkin vieressä. Hoteli oli hiljainen ja viihtyisä. ”

”Erittäin hieno Japanilainen kokemus. Alakerran kylpytilat ovat loistavat. Futoneilla nukkuu hyvin. Paikat siistejä ja henkilökunta Japanilaiseen tyyliin ystävällistä. Suosittelen.”

”Location is next to aeon mall”

”Incredibile experience of staying in a traditional ryokan. Very calm/peaceful atmosphere and the most lovely staff. Our room had everything we needed however, no coffee machine. There was a cafe nearby though, and breakfast was delicious and included coffee.”

”Easy check in, room was clean, had everything needed, ice and microwave one floor up, did not eat in the hotel at all. Great location right across from the Imperial Palace and just up from the subway.”

”Beautiful room with garden view. ”
