”The best weekend escape. This is my second time here and I’m 100% sure I will be coming back again. It is worth so much more than what you pay. It’s spacious with a private indoor and outdoor bath. You even have your own garden space which you can enjoy all day with the big glass windows. The breakfast was healthy and warm, perfect to start the day. The surrounding area is very peaceful and feels like the perfect escape. I was feeling stressed from my busy work life in Tokyo and a night at this...

”It's briefly mentioned that the hotel provides a shuttle service, and it worked out to be really useful. They had a regular schedule running between the izukyu-shimoda JR station and the shuttle.
We got a room with a balcony with a "partial sea view", which turned out to be a fantastic view to the bay! The breakfast at the in-house french restaurant, The Pheonix, was moderate, but the dinner in the Japanese restaurant was really good.

”The staff was friendly, and although the hotel was a bit old, it was clean and well-maintained, so there were no inconveniences.
The ocean view from the room and open-air hot spring in the large public bath was truly wonderful.
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was extremely slow, but overall, it was an accommodation I would love to visit again.”
