”It's briefly mentioned that the hotel provides a shuttle service, and it worked out to be really useful. They had a regular schedule running between the izukyu-shimoda JR station and the shuttle.
We got a room with a balcony with a "partial sea view", which turned out to be a fantastic view to the bay! The breakfast at the in-house french restaurant, The Pheonix, was moderate, but the dinner in the Japanese restaurant was really good.
The pool was nice, and had great views to offer from the...

”Worried about erosion leading down to the ocean, but other then that staying this location was the best part of my trip. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing!!”

”The staff was friendly, and although the hotel was a bit old, it was clean and well-maintained, so there were no inconveniences.
The ocean view from the room and open-air hot spring in the large public bath was truly wonderful.
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was extremely slow, but overall, it was an accommodation I would love to visit again.”

”Staff were wonderful and amazing. The food was the absolute best we’ve had in all of our visits to Japan. The rooms and onsen were fabulous. Can’t say enough about this place. Highly recommend. ”
