”Honestly this place was great. I saw birds roght out my patio window and looked out to the mountains. It was a great value and the owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Take the short hike to the top of the property and enjoy an amazing view. This was such a cool place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable.”

”The room was very clean and comfortable. The mini bar items were gratuitous and a welcome addition. The bed was very comfortable and the grounds were immaculate. The staff were all friendly and met our needs. The included breakfast was filling and service was very good. We also had dinner twice there during our stay. The food and service were excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in the center walking distance to downtown area with shops and restaurants. ”

”The rooms are very large, with comfortable beds, luxurious robes, scented bath products and a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. The balcony was very nice with a comfy hammock swing to lounge in! The hot tub was most enjoyable too. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean. The whole property is just lovely. Views are outstanding!!”

”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options. Cala Lodge is a bit out of the centre of Santa Elena, however, there are nice...

”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”
