”Clean room, pleasant staff, pet friendly”

”First time to stay at Hampton Inn. Everything was perfect except the main thing we need to sleep good. You guessed it! Air conditioning. The thermostat is motion activated. When you go to sleep, the air conditioner does not come on at all. Therefore you get hot and stuffy until you get up and move around. I did tell the front desk the night of and they could not do anything about it.”

”Do not go to this property! Our room had blood all over it (curtain, wall, ceiling, carpet)! Looked like someone had died or was gravely injured in it!! Facilities are literally falling a part! Staff was friendly and offered another room, but could not and would not trust another room.”

”Fine hotel for a clean and comfortable bed. No frills. I do not recommend the breakfast. We tried it but it was terrible. The coffee was weak and the eggs were sour. We tossed them and ate out.”

”Cons: TV didn't work. Room was musty smelling. Breakfast consisted of bad coffee, a muffin and an apple. Pros: Bed was comfortable, good water pressure, nice size refrigerator & freezer, good size room.”

”I was denied a receipt at check out. Housekeeping every other day, usuall required another visit to the front desk daily to get towels, washcloths, coffee, etc. New computer system was creating a lot of problems for staff.”

”The mattress needed replacing . Felt like sinking into a hole. Neighbors were up to 2:30 going in and out with a kid that had zero indoor voice. Motorcycle group also staying there reving motors. Not our best stay there. Usually good place...these were not really the hotels fault but I would think the office would hear them or see it on their security monitor that is right at the desk.”

”The limited staff (skeleton crew) was as helpful as they could be, but the property is in rough shape. Elevator didn’t work. Doors wouldn’t open even after the key card unlocked the latch. Not the Hampton standard we’re used to.”

”This is a fantastic property located on mansion row. The Inn Keeper, Miami was great, providing a delicious breakfast and history lesson about the mansion as well as a few ghost stories. Very comfortable accommodation. We will definitely return if we are in the area in the future.”

”Just a couple issues- parking is limited and upon arrival I was given a room that had not been cleaned. BUT! The staff was excellent and took care of the room issue with professionalism and friendliness. The room I was given was spotless. Great hotel, great staff. Breakfast was decent. It was a very good stay and I’d return if I was ever in the area.”
