”I have stayed at the village Inn a few times and always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, location is excellent and the staff is friendly. We enjoy the live music at the pub. Unfortunately, this was a quick trip and we didn’t have the time to use the pool.”

”Room was clean. Definitely older property. Pets allowed which was great! My door however did not have any interior installation so it was not as secure as I would like and allowed noise and sunlight through it. In room fridge definitely needed to be cleaned better. ”

”Rooms were clean, location is excellent and so is the staff. I chose to pay more for this hotel because of the location, it's convenience to downtown and the restaurants in the area. It met those expectations. My only complaints are that twice the landscapers in the area were operating a blower early in the morning waking everyone up. The TV remote sucked. The wifi sucked more than the TV remote. For some reason, cellphone service on the island is spotty and in the hotel it was terrible. ...

”Great location. ECHO food was very good. Staff courteous. Cleanliness was excellent. We were in the historic building and the room was very small. The issue we had was the room location inches from the side entrance stairwell. This made it very noisy often at night.”

”Ocean Lodge Resort is in a good location and very close to the beach. A parking garage is available and nice. The restaurant and bar is only open in the evening on Wednesday through Saturday. The floors in our unit were dirty so we wore shoes during our stay. The patio was nice but the unit was dark. This didn’t feel like a resort.”

”The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. ”

”We had such a great stay at Hampton Inn St. Simons Island! The hotel was super clean, quiet, and very family friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the pool and looked forward to breakfast every morning, which honestly made the trip even easier for us. The location was PERFECT. It felt tucked away and peaceful surrounded by all the beautiful old trees, so it had that relaxing secluded feel, but you were still right in the middle of everything.
