The host was very nice and communicative.However, people / guests living in the building were very loud for both the nights from dusk to dawn and didn’t let us sleep well and it was more horrible for second night when sounds became louder as if someone was breaking the floor. Besides the apartment had animal fur everywhere and ants in the bed room. Will not recommend for someone with kid.

This property is fantastic for someone who is financially in need of staying close to the city, but does not have the funds to stay in the city.The property manager is absolutely wonderful and was very concerned/cautious with giving us all the information we needed.The property itself is in fantastic shape with ample room for two. The bathroom is practically brand new and in very good shape. We have no concerns about the property.The neighborhood itself is very well lit with lots of police officers that live in the areaMy only concern and the reason why it did not receive five stars is that it’s lack of parking. If having a secured parking space is not a dealbreaker for you. This is absolutely the property for you.However, we would come back from a night in the city and have nowhere to park and be stuck either double parking or driving around for almost an hour to look for a spot. Especially as a person that does not parallel park well.If parking is not an issue for you, or you are not planning on bringing a car, I highly recommend this property

The rooms were incredibly dirty - it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had so far. The place has been overall covered by dust, hairs and we even had a nose ring in our bed - it has been incredible disgusting - NEVER EVER WILL RETURN

Rugs were dirty. Kitchen/refrigerator was not clean. We were unable to get in until after 5 pm when check in was at 4. A door was locked and property manager had to call a nearby resident to get it opened. We would have left except we had a show to go to in the city. As it was, we couldn’t freshen up and change. Returned 1:30 am and were locked out again. Needed to be buzzed in remotely. The bed was very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t call it AC. One small window unit at the opposite end of the apartment from the bedroom so we slept (poorly) in the heat. We left after one night, dropping 350 for a hotel, even though we paid for two nights in the apartment.

The place was clean and perfect for a long weekend in NY city. The buse and subway was very close. The host was great we checked in early and was able to check later so we didn’t have to sit at airport for to long. I stay again when visiting NY city

This was the perfect place for our quick overnight for a concert in Jersey City. Clean, safe, and more spacious than I expected for a city apartment. Kitchen has the basics to keep things cold (mini fridge) and heat things up (microwave, Keurig with coffee provided). We had zero issue with parking right on the block (though I imagine arriving later in the evening would have made it tougher). Easy Uber (10-15) into town. Would imagine this would be a great location for home base on an NYC trip, as well. Shareef communicated promptly and efficiently. Great, underrated spot.

It was very hard to find parking and we had to park far from the location. We loved the high quality clean towels and clean sheets but the floor was very dirty and was not swept or vaccumed. The couch was very dirty with loose dirt and tags from clothing. It was evident it hadnt been vaccumed from the last guests. We saw a roach and also saw roach traps and roach bait around the doors. We loved the front red door. Its beautiful.

The online listing was pretty accurate as far as description of space. The space had a strange odor. Upon walking in the front door the 1st thing you see is a can of febreze on the mantel. So I'm sure the owner is aware of the odor. As I grab the can and start spraying I notice a roach on the bathroom door. Between the odor and the roach I tried to spend as much time as possible out doors. I was happy I only had a 1 night stay. Came in late and checked out 1st thing in the morning.

Just what we needed

We needed a place to sleep basically and the place was really spacious equipped with the basics but sad to see that person who did the finishing touches on the renovations didn't understand much about DIY. There was a Swiffer which I was going to use but container with wet disposable cloths was empty left in the lounge. Otherwise it was close enough to where we needed to be.
