I love the location and view!
I have been here many times but this recent visit was disappointing. I arrived in the evening and sat in my car for a while waiting for assistance which experienced in the past. No one came so I locked my car and went to the front desk, and only then did the valet people appeared. There was no one at the front desk. Eventually two men appeared. Check in was slow and interrupted by several guests who distracted the gentleman who was checking me in.. Finally I sat down and waited for the man at the desk for about ten minutes. Then I was given my key.
Once I got to my room, I attempted to dial my phone to request room service but there was just a busy tone. Then I went downstairs to order room service. I went to the restaurant and they said I could not order from them and I was directed to the lobby to use the phone in the desk. I tried to call and when I was I ordering I was disconnected so I went to the desk and asked them to order it…a lot of running around for simple things-as stated, I have stayed here many times and previously, my experience was flawless.
I’m not sure why this visit was so weird but whoever is in charge should pay better attention to staffing issues and the comfort of their guests! Yikes! Would love to return but not sure if I want to if I have to be challenged by routine needs.
