Matkat – Jette

The room was clean but the maintenance is lacking. I believe it is new management so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. The sink faucet was extremely loose. No way they did not know. No coffee in room and none in the lobby. Pillows seem very old. For $200 they need to step up.

Staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast was good and plentiful and hotel was very clean and well maintained.

With no staff on site there was no way to get my questions answered. I tried the "contact us" feature, but never received a reply. The access code was tricky to operate and instructions on how to use it were incomplete. Additionally, there seems to have been something in the driveway that provides access to the parking lot from the side streeet (not Broadway) that punctured my tires - 2 differeent tires, on the 2 different times I drove out of that exit. Not having staff onsite probably contributed to this problem not getting taken care of. I can only assume others had a similar experience.

It is a very nice looking hotel and very clean, but if you get placed in a room on the alleyway plan on being woken up extremely early by businesses, trash trucks and every other sort of noise that can go through there. It was our honeymoon and they refused to move us rooms either. Our AC went out twice. It was very disappointing given how highly rated the hotel was.
