”There are 2 buildings. The first one where the office is located, seems to be for weekly rentals and run down. The facade of the front, looks great, which is what's on expedia, but it doesn't show the outside rooms of that building, so when we pulled up, we felt very deceived and apprehensive. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. Had to walk to another building through the side parking lot. This entrance was secured with a key card which eased the concern. ”This hotel is just lovely! The suite we had was extremely clean. The furnishings and artwork were most intriguing. The location was ideal for walking downtown. The breakfast was excellent and included in the stay. We ate at hotel restaurant both evenings. The food was very good, as was the service.”

”Parking was easy if you were able to get a spot. I did have trouble getting a spot close to my room, but the hotel worker on duty accommodated for me and just switched my room to a closer spot. Staff is accommodating and easy to work with. Amenities are fair. Room was clean. But furniture seemed old and stained. My room did smell like smoke. But I was safe. It was fine for 2 nights. ”

”The room didn't appear especially clean. There were stains on the comforter and a few on the sheets, but nothing that seemed new. Just permanently stained. Fan cover in the bathroom ceiling was missing and cracks in the ceiling. Air conditioner was working. Although the room did seem warm. Overall, it wasn't terrible just not completely updated.”

”This is an old boarding house with great history. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. A code is given to get into the front door and for your assigned room. We did have problems getting into our room but once i figured out who to call, she took care of it quick. Very close to Back Woods . ”

”As soon as we walked it several roaches crawled across our floor. Went to front desk and nobody answered. The furniture was also broken and damaged. And the shower was horrible. Hotel looks nothing like the photos. WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN!!”
