Quiet Country Setting is a great place to relax and reconnect with your Family & Mother Nature. Your out of town yet close to still get a pizza delivered! Walk the trails at Arrowhead lake, build a fire in the fire pit & Relax. You can enjoy local Arrowhead lake for fishing!

Most of our guest once they come ... come on back!

There are board games, books to read, tv & dvd player, take a nature walk...just enjoy.

There is a grill for family cookouts, several picnic tables, a treadmill inside to exercise in the cool. Internet connection now available. Great place for traveling Nurses and professionals.

Very quiet area and the house was very clean. We never received keys or trash bags even after receiving a couple of messages saying that they would drop them by. No internet access the first day and the television didn't work the entire time.

Very Disappointed

Words cannot express the disappointment we had upon arrival. First off, it took us 15 minutes to find the house because you had sent me the wrong address. (You had the numbers mixed up, and the address did not exist) we had too turn around and search in the pitch black until we finally figured it out. It was a long day of travel and we just needed sleep. Instead it took all we had not to call you at 1230 am.Then, when I have to walk into a VRBO and start to clean it myself, we have issues. Immediately upon walking in, there was dirt and bugs from there being no screen door, which I had to kill most of them. As you can imagine, we all had to use the restroom from traveling, it was so dirty no one would even use the toilet with how dirty it was. My daughter had to clean the toilet with the cleaner you had sitting out on the tub before we could use it, along with the spiders and the dirt in there. The bathroom door won’t even shut, so no privacy in the bathroom. When my granddaughter went to her room, in the back, she walked in the carpet and it was so dirty she was had stuff sticking to the bottom of her feet. Since there was no vacuum we tried sweeping the carpet which looked like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. There was dirt and bugs in there as well. Not to mention this bed is so high, you need step stool to comfortably get into it, which is not mentioned nor left in the room for anyone’s convenience. Stains on pillowcases, hair and dirt on all sheets, etc.

This was a very cute cabin. I definitely will recommend it to my family and friends. There was only 2 things that I would make a comment on The address is really hard to find at the street level. But on the building you can see it really easy. You cannot see the building address from the street. It would be nice if the mailbox had fresh numbers and had a number at the end of the driveway. The bathroom has a step up to get to the toilet and the shower. They have a nice grab bar to help you get up. It is not a big step. I use a Walker to get around. It really wasn't that much trouble. It was a very enjoyable stay and definitely would like to go back there again.

Not what we expected

First things first as we were driving to location we waited and waited to hear from host on how we were to enter property upon arrival. Never got an access code nor did I ever receive a message from her on how to get in property so that made us nervous. I had to message her myself directly shortly upon arrival to find out how to get in. She left door unlocked with key on counter which was ok just would have made us feel better if we would have been notified about all this before arrival. Didnt get WiFi password til after 10pm. Not everything that was in description was available at location. No trampoline that was in one of the photos. I was told there would be a high chair to use on a table chair for my toddler that was not the case. So I had no high chair during stay since I didn’t bring mine. If it was there I was unable to find it. We were unable to use the grill due to it not being listed as propane which was empty. We brought charcoal unaware of this plus it was sooo dirty I wouldn’t have cooked on it anyway. That was a major let down upon arrival as I bought stuff to cook for dinner on grill. I wouldn’t recommend bringing too much stuff to put in fridge since the fridge didn’t really keep things cold very well so I had to keep rotating milk and other things from freezer to fridge during our stay. Toilet sink and bath tub were not cleaned. Had hair in sink and tub and toilet was obviously dirty. Overall we won’t be back to location. I’d chose something else.

Disappointed

We arrived at 9:30 at night after a long day of travel and were disappointed with what we found... First of all, the place not well marked at all. It turned out to be an old outbuilding converted into living quarters. Inside, cold coffee remained in the coffee pot, Crumbs on the kitchen table, thick dust on the TV stand and other areas, a dirty toilet, hair in the bathtub. One corner in a bedroom had "straw" on the floor from some critter that had obviously been there before us. Wiped mice turds off the kitchen sink. Thankfully there was a vacuum sweeper on site and we vacuumed the carpets, sweeping up hair and other debris. We pulled back the bed sheets and found white particles and hair. We dusted them off the best we could and tried to sleep. Our children were disappointed to wake up in the morning and not find a trampoline in the yard as we had read about on the VRBO site. We packed all our stuff up in the morning and left for good. This place has some potential if the host would do a thorough cleaning and set some mouse traps. We asked the owner for a refund and she refused. They wanted pictures which we did not think to take before cleaning. Deana said she had personally "cleaned" the place. Thankfully, we were able to find another nice, clean property not far away for our week and a half stay. But out of all fairness to anyone else considering to book this property, the least we can do is let you know what we found. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place!!
