Left the resort on 4/19. My wife and I traveled here to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary! All I can say is “Don’t Stay Here” Hear me Don’t stay here! The only thing this resort has that is keeping them open is the beach. It is beautiful but you have to really look for a decent beach chair. Most of the chairs should have been replaced years ago. The pictures you see online are NOT what this resort looks like in 2026. All sites should request more up to date pictures. The room is horrible! They are old, outdated and need immediate attention asap. The bed takes up all the space in the room. They don’t have refrigerator , they give you an ice bucket but there is no ice machine nor no bottle water. The shower is big enough for one person ONLY. When you step in you can barely turn around. They only provide one power outlet with the others being European fit. The front desk staff has attitude. They are not friendly at all. You have to almost beg for towels. We asked for 2 extra face towels, they gave them but as soon as we left the room, housekeeping came in our room, got the two towels back. When I reported it to front desk, the girl didn’t even look up at me. All she said was I will speak with housekeeping. They are very understaffed and nonchalant of their guests. Food was Okay!! Nothing to brag about. OMG the Pizza Shack. Tell me why you have to make reservations at 7am in order to eat here. We spent most of our time away from the resort just to make the best of or trip.

The property has beautiful views but the property itself is outdated. First room that I checked into had an A/C busted line and I had cloth duffle bag which my clothes got wet and some damaged. The second room they put us in the door wouldn’t lock, had to pull the security latch and prop a chair there at night, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and was off the hinges, the hotel phone wouldn’t work, the A/C was dripping on to the nightstand, they only had one American outlet…the rest were European. It was very difficult to get clean fresh towels and we were told they only do housecleaning once a week. No ice maker at the facility.

Great beach and location! Staff was friendly and accommodating. After seeing several reviews that weren’t great, I was worried. The rooms are clean and had everything we needed. Food was a little boring after several days but we ate out a few times, so it didn’t bother us. The beach was great, calm waves. 2 pools! No entertainment to speak of, which we were disappointed about but there are a few places within walking or driving distance that we found that had music at night.

I loved my stay at Jolly Beach, wish there were more activities on the resort for free. Overall had a great time. Beaches were beautiful, food was pretty good after day one. Love the location, it seemed to be right in the center of everything. Not too far from most excursions. The staff were extremely friendly and nice.

The beach was beautiful. The pools and the food were nice. There were several things we did not like but it did not takeaway from the experience. The resort is tired and needs a real good update. The desk staff are not friendly but they help you and provide what you need. It was good value and the area has lots of things to do.

Very in need of upgrades, even if just cosmetic: the exterior is beat up (leaking pipes, opened electricity panels on grounds, some outside showers in need of repair near pools, pools need to be maintened (patches) uneven pathways need to be repaved, rooms in need of a fresh up: change patio doors and furniture, repair screens for windows. Hardworking personel...a bit tired but smily. Thank you for offering some of the local food...refreshing. Local artists for entertainement is a nice touch...

The beach at this hotel is amazing. Large with lots of seating. The hotel is old and outdated. Rooms are small. When we arrived, there were no blankets on our beds, only a sheet. We were able to get blankets from the front desk. The AC unit is extremely loud. Food was okay. Bar ran out of beer every day. Judith is the best hotel employee that we met. She greeted us every morning for breakfast with a smile and she also sings during breakfast. Overall, the hotel is okay. Service was average. Some staff were very helpful; some were not helpful. Room is only cleaned for an additional $10/day. Gym equipment is extremely old. They have 2 treadmills, only one was working and it didn't sound good. They have 3 bikes - all of which were broke. They do have some free weights. No towels or water in the gym. Wifi is availabel but very slow.

All I will see is that if you are looking to a beautiful beach jolly beach is just that! If you want that beach to be accompanied by great food and decent rooms then jolly beach resort is not for you. I have been to many hotels ranging from 3-5 stars and let me tell you how this place gets 3 stars is beyond me. The staff is rude, you don’t get your room cleaned, you have to stalk them for towels, the power went out 3 times and no one does anything about it. I understand that you get what you pay for and this was the lesser of the all inclusives but oh boy it’s not like it was free. So if you like to feel clostrophobia while on vacation then the rooms will work for you. But remember the beach is beautiful. But also remember there are 300 plus other beaches that probably have better resorts.

If you’re looking for a five star luxury resort…this ain’t your place. But if you’re looking for a mostly clean albeit tired resort, give this place a look. We were recently here for five days and had a very enjoyable time, although upon arrival we were pretty disappointed with our choice and considered leaving to another resort. We decided to stay, and by the time we left we decided we would return. The good: the beach is fantastic, and the pools, while old, are fine. There isn’t much in the line of nightlife; I was fine with that, while it may disappoint others. The buffet for all meals is basic and mostly unexciting. There are always good choices for salads, cheeses, etc. Breakfast had an omelet station and your typical selection of breakfast items. Lunch and dinner were always basic. There was never a time we left a meal hungry, but we also never left impressed. The bad: the place is tired. It’s owned by the government, and upgrades and maintenance aren’t a high priority. The employees spend most of their time fielding complaints, so they’re loaded for bear when you approach them; if you treat them with a little respect and some humor they warm right up. The rooms are basic…mine was fine, but I heard complaints that things were broken in other rooms. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to escape the weather…give this place a shot. It’s worth every penny. If you’re a traveler who expects 5star accommodations and pampering, this is NOT for you.

I dont even know where to start. This resort was super dilapidated, the bathrooms are horrible and super outdated, the buffet was ok. The pool was ok. The chairs to seat down on the beach are old and broken the coffee shop is not really a coffee a shop. Dont expeted pastrys or a nice cappuccino or icea cream, the have regular coffee and regular milk. Another thing is dont expect your room service to come to clean your room they do it every 7 days!! And ofcourse i was not expecting a 5 start hotel treat, but this was a little too much! The staff is not very friendly neither. However the beach was amazing!!! But i will not stay here never again!

One Star hotel/resort with a five star beach. Skip the hotel but visit the beach while on the island staying elsewhere. Food options were extremely limited and for an all inclusive not always available. Staff was extremely disinterested in service. Hotel is very very dated and in need of repair. We left three days early as even the beach couldn’t make up for the regrettable hotel and service.

Very nice hotel, with incredibly beautiful beaches, but there is a big problem with the food — you always have to stand in line for 20–30 minutes just to get a cocktail or something to eat. The staff are friendly, but there simply aren’t enough of them for the number of guests. The food is tasty (if you manage to get something), but for the only restaurant you need to come at 6:00 a.m. to register for a 7:30 seating. The selection is very limited, but you won’t go hungry. The beach makes up for all the shortcomings!

As far as I could tell there was no spa. The front desk fails to inform you of where things are located and what hours of operation they are. Finding the hours of the restaurants was something I had to figure out on my own. The people that gave out beach towels were very inconsistent they weren't there at a regular scheduled time. So exchanging your towel was more of a hit or miss. The room was clean but very outdated and very small. I had expected that because I had actually booked one of the smallest rooms. I really love the food there. I'm a picky eater and there was something that I really enjoyed at every meal. The bar service was very quick. They could have done much better when it came to coffee service. All they offer is black coffee and some basic cream. The beaches are very clean. The beach chairs could use a freshen up. The grounds were easily accessible to everything I wanted to do. The resort is mainly couples and older crowd. The polls were a perfect temperature for swimming.

Room smelt of rotting wood...dirty and outdated...dirty water glasses... unavailable coffee cups...no housekeeping..buffet was limited...goodentertainment by Mr Wonderful though...usd 20 for extra towels.???..some staff very unhelpful...apart from that; beach and view was phenomenal...However would not stay again... Country is beautiful...board of tourism should look into this hotel!

Resort is very outdated lots of improvements can be done to the property. Not a lot of food option. Food was not good. Lipstick stain on glass in the restaurant. No housekeeping, staff did not even come to empty the bin. Most of the staff were rude or appear to be frustrated. No bottled water. No access to food or refreshments certain times of the day. No AC or TV remote in room.

Resort is very dated. For an all inclusive it was lacking. No fridge in rooms, in bottled water, you have to pay for house keeping. A lot needs to be done to improve the property and guest experience
