”The house is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with an incredible view. We watched lobster boats come and go and seals fishing in the bay. A fantastic place to spend a few days! The house is small and no-frills, but clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We appreciated how it was far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the August crowds, but close enough to go there for the day. Check in/out was straightforward, and communication was excellent.”

”The location is gorgeous with plenty of nearby walks, hikes, and interesting places to keep us busy. We saw deer, eagles and turkeys on the property. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was quiet—at times we could hear the ocean from Pigeon Hill Bay just down the embankment across the road. Perfect in every way!”

”We had a truly wonderful week in Jonesport. We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is great for that, top notch equipment, as nice as our home kitchen plus some spices and sugar and so forth for convenience. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the house and we loved the shack that's on the rocks over the water. Great for hanging out and reading or having a morning cup of coffee.The neighborhood is quiet and restful, but plenty to do. We went kayaking twice and hiking twice.I highly...

”This is an amazing property near the Schoodic Peninsula. I watched seals hunting from the deck overlooking the cove. ”

”Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

”We had a nice relaxing stay! Weather was amazing with lots of nice views of the ocean. Seals came every day just off the coast and lost of bird activity. Would stay here again! ”

”We enjoyed our stay. The view is great and so is the location. Milbridge is a great little town, and makes for a great base for short day trips to surrounding communities, including MDI. The cabin itself is fairly rustic, but has most of the necessary creature comforts one expects. Water pressure was a bit low and the bed was not very comfortable, but that is partly a matter of preference. ”

”Spent a couple days during Lobstah festival. Took advantage of the kitchen and BBQ. Master shower not very user-friendly with current knob setup spent more time drying the floor than showering. ”

He is a long time “Mainer” and a wealth of information. The location of this property is right on the water and walking distance to a terrific nature preserve.
